We have worked in all segments of basic industries for over 30 years. We are a full service, specialty contractor, capable of performing jobs ranging from demolition to final inspection and startup. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to our customers, providing emergency response to units that require repairs. We currently service customers throughout the Western United States.

Our experience in rotary kilns is unmatched by any other contractor in our region. E.J. Bartells Refractory manages the refractory work during major turnarounds at several Northwest Refineries. We can manage nearly any size project in any industry from small projects in foundries, incinerators, and boiler repairs, as well has 100+ workers per day on major refinery projects. Refractory linings are often the key component of critical process units in the industries we service. We understand the importance of service longevity, and our goal is to eliminate unscheduled downtime due to refractory failures.
We have the ability to provide CAD drawings of our lining installations, "real time" costing of projects, full service infra-red scanning of units to determine the condition, and identify areas of concern with existing linings. We are big enough to handle the large shutdowns, but we also remain loyal to both our local and smaller customers who have trusted us with their business for decades.
